Services

Administration
The administrative unit within University Communications is responsible for the strategic direction of communications on the CU-Boulder campus and the associated administrative functions of the department, including personnel, financial planning, payroll, training, accounts payable/receivable, network support and the student internship program. Community Relations
Community Relations generates good will toward the campus in communities across the state. It serves as a liaison between campus outreach programs and the audiences they serve. See Community Relations.

Internal Communications
Internal Communications provides support for the campus community by helping to increase awareness and understanding of the university's accomplishments, objectives, key policies and decisions and how they can be supported. See Internal Communications.

Marketing
Marketing develops advertising and promotional strategies and campaigns that generate awareness of CU-Boulder, primarily for undergraduate recruiting purposes. See Marketing.

Media Relations and News Services
News Services is the primary link between the campus and local, state, and national news media on programs and issues concerning the CU-Boulder campus. The office produces more than 500 news releases annually and generates more than 10,000 news stories annually, as well as the annual campus fact book and an experts guide of CU-Boulder faculty. Photography
Photography provides photographs for university print publications and web sites, and for marketing, public relations, and media relations efforts, as well as university clients. See Publications.

Publications
Publications provides high quality creative and marketing services for a variety of print and electronic media. Services include marketing, design, writing, editing, production, and print procurement for a broad range of university clients. See Publications and Creative Services.

Web Communications
Web Communications provides web development services for campus departments. These services include content and editorial consultation, information architecture assistance, html production, design, site maintenance, and minor programming. See Web Communications.
