The traditional concepts concerning academic integrity are standards, cheating, plagiarism, fabrication, aid of academic dishonesty, lying, bribery, threat, and sanctions. Students should consult with their instructors regarding specific standards or procedures appropriate in each given field. Infractions of academic honesty policies are under the jurisdiction of the Honor Code Council, and are governed by the Laws of the Regents, Article 4a5 and 5e5 (b).
CU-Boulder offers 85 undergraduate majors through the College of Architecture and Planning, College of Arts and Sciences, Leeds School of Business, College of Engineering and Applied Science, College of Music, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and School of Education. In addition, graduate students can choose from 70 master’s and 50 doctoral degree programs.

Forever Buffs is the Alumni Association’s initiative to engage our 240,000 alumni and 30,000 students. Membership in The Herd, the student arm of the Alumni Association, is also a great way to engage with students and celebrate being a Buff. With 6,000 members, it’s one of the strongest student groups in the country. CU-Boulder Alumni have access to networking opportunities, career counseling and more through Forever Buffs Link, the online community for Buffs across the world. All alumni and students are lifelong members of the Alumni Association from the day they set foot on campus.
E-mail is an official means of communication on the CU-Boulder campus. E-mail will be sent to your CU-Boulder e-mail address from the university, your professors, and college or school, which means you must check your university e-mail frequently. As a campus e-mail account holder, you are responsible for knowing and adhering to the university’s e-mail policies.
